This dairy free chocolate iced cappuccino gives all the familiar flavours of a classic Tim Horton's iced capp, with a chocolatey twist. It's easy to make and a real crowd pleaser.
6tbspvanilla hazelnut ground coffeeor other ground coffee beans
4cupswater
1cupsugar
2cupsdairy free chocolate milkI recommend Silk Almond Dark Chocolate
¾cupdairy free half and halfI used Silk brand
1tbspvanilla extract
Instructions
Prepare and brew the coffee with 4 cups of water. Once the coffee is made, stir in 1 cup of sugar until dissolved. Let cool completely (pouring hot liquid into your slushie machine may cause damage). You can also prepare this in advance and let chill in the fridge for best results.
Once the coffee is fully cooled, stir it into a large bowl or container with the dairy free chocolate milk and half and half creamer, along with the vanilla extract.
Pour into your slushie machine. Select the "frappe" (or slush mode) and let run according to your machine's directions.
Once the machine advises it's completed it's mode, pour into a cup and serve. Enjoy!
Notes
Want to elevate your iced capp? Add some vegan whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a drizzle of vegan chocolate or caramel sauce. Delicious!
